Stack Production

The cut sheets are taken over from the rotary sheeter by a vacuum belt and are transported without any further machine contact (no smearing) into the star wheel. Before entering the star wheel, each sheet is read and counted by means of a photo cell. At the same time, the star wheel synchronizes itself with each incoming sheet. This process allows a 100% exact sheet counting/stack separation, which is particularly important with any numbered products. The sheets in the star wheel are transported into the stacking position, are continually adjusted laterally and from the back and are formed into a perfectly shaped stack that is aligned on all sides.

Exact Sheet Counting - Stacking - Cardboard Insertion

The UNISTAR device has specifically been developed for all products that build up on one side as well as for the production of self-adhesive notepads. As the device does not need any shingles behind the sheeter, it provides the ideal requirements for the processing of such products. In addition to this, a specifically developed sheet/cardboard inserter further supports the production of self-adhesive note pads. From a deep pile, the forming stacks are interleaved with sheets/cardboards at predefined intervals. The result is a completely finished product that is printed, cut, counted, stacked and interleaved with a supporting cardboard in one single operating process.

Reception Belt

The reception belt, equipped with round belts, a drive motor and a lifting device, can store up to 4 stacks and facilitates the handling of the piles thanks to an ergonomic working height of 860 mm.
